Preventing Trial installations via Creative Cloud Desktop Application

Resurrecting this thread, as there seem to have been no further updates and this was supposedly under consideration 4 years ago.

In short, we want to be able to prevent the installation of trial software while still allowing access to free applications like Bridge, as well as software the user is licensed for.

i think you're limited to disabling the apps tab and then deploying any programs you want to user to install in the future.

We used to do that, but Adobe pushed really hard for letting the users manage their own Creative Cloud application installs so we went that way. That's fine but we don't want to support trial software, only licensed software. Doesn't seem like an unreasonable request to me.

i agree.  it sounds quite a bit more than reasonable, and actually surprising that enterprise subscribers would not be able to easily do this.  i just don't think it's possible.

you could double-check with your support person:  open the support tab on your admin console > start chat or start case or request expert session.
