Problems with InDesign subscription

I recently came to the end of my trial on InDesign and decided to pay the subscription, for some reason abode hasn't recognised my subscription and the InDesign icon still reads "trial period over", Can anyone help me with this problem? should I uninstall and reinstall the app?

If you used the same Adobe ID for the trial and the subscription, then sign out and sign back in.
