Question on Updates with Adobe managed packages

New Here ,
Jun 27, 2022 Jun 27, 2022

We are currently using managed packages for deployments.  Non-admin updates and installs are disabled, but remote update manager installs are allowed.  We've noticed that the Creative Cloud Desktop app on our Mac computers will show a pop-up saying that updates were installed without IT deploying any updates.  I was wondering if anyone knew if this was Adobe forcing security updates?  We're just curious where they're coming from.

Thanks!

as of now, CCDA and XD cannot. be updated via RUM, and essentially CCDA updates are mandatory, so the prompt that you see is certainly about CCDA components getting updated which are pushed by Adobe from the backend.
