Reader 7 with terminal services and modified user profile issues

I am IT for a large company with 50-100 computers. about 1/2 of these comptuers are desktops and about 1/2 of these computers are thin clients logging into a terminal services server.

Of the users who are logging into the terminal services server, 5 of these users (user accounts ywg60, ywg61, ywg62, ywg63, ywg64) are using the same profile path as defined in the profile path field of the user account in active directory on a windows 2000 domain controller. All 5 users have the same desktop and such and every other program (word, outlook, 2 specialized applications, etc...) works fine in this environment (with the same profile path (\\server03\users\staff\mainprofile\)) except the reader program.

When you open the reader program by double clicking on a pdf file, the hour glass mouse pointer appears for a seccond or so, then terminates. This however was not consistant.

We found that you can open reader only if any of the users who are using the same profile path do not already have it open (meaning only one of the 5 people can have reader open at any given time.)

Do you know of any work arrounds for this or an updated patch i need to apply?

Chris
