I work for a company and we're doing inventory right now of what computers have what programs and etc, and I need to know if there is a way to look up what license or serial numbers are on the computers so we know how many licenses we need to purchase, if any. How would this be done?

Is this a program that I can download? I don't fully understand exactly what is being said in this article, but it looks like it might be able to help me with what I need? I'm not sure.

yes, that article discusses the use of the adobe provisioning toolkit: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/technical-resources.edu.html?cq_ck=1308180545248#deploym...

Alright, so I opened it and tried running the "adobe_prtk.exe –tool=InventorySN" command, because that looked like what I needed to find out my code, and it didn't pop up with any serial numbers at all. I ran it as a new command in the terminal, both inside a shell and not, and while a pop up did happen, it didn't give me a serial number. Did I do this correctly? It looks like other people have said this command has not been implimented yet, but that was back in 2011 and 2012, so I thought maybe by now it would work. Apparently not.
