Shared files gone missing when license was removed

I have a situation during a handover when person was sharing all files via Creative Cloud. When the person left the company, the license has been removed from her and the shared files are no longer available to me. I've contacted the admin, but admin does not have access to the content of those files. The files might be somewhere in the Cloud or not. The result is, files are not available. Not good. What is the solution here? Thanks
