Student Migration from an Enterprise Account

Hi everyone,

I am a recently graduated student who had an account through my school. Since graduation the payed plan for this account has ended. My school email which is tied to the account, will also dissapear in 6 months, so I am needing to start an entirely new account with a new email. My main issue is my portfolio, which I spent a lot of time on, is still tied to my school account.

I have attempted the student asset migration many times. It is a very frustrating process because it requires an email that has not been used for an account before. Everytime I have tried some error occurs and the migration does not happen. Not only does that not work, but I cannot try again with the same email because now there is an account for the email.

I have contacted 3 different areas of adobe support, and none have been helpfu;l, they keep pushing me off onto someone else. I have also reached out to my schools IT deopartment to see if they can be of any help because it is an enterprise account through the school that I am trying to migrate my assets from.

I am wondering if anyone has had this same issue, and if anyone has any info/experience that can help. I am extremely frustrated at this point and worried about losing my portfolio as a new graduate who needs her portfolio to apply for jobs.

Hey there! I'm having this same exact issue. I spent the last couple months of the semester creating my portfolio website, and really would like for it to be transferred. I've attempted the asset migration at least 5-6 times, and have had to literally create new emails to keep trying, but as soon as I click "Start Migration", the error message immediately pops up. Adobe Support has been no help, and my school's IT department has no clue what the issue is. Honestly, I've just taken screenshots of my website and copied the text, and will probably just end up recreating it with a new account. I'm so shocked and frustrated by how little help there is to solve this issue, especially for graduating students like us who need portfolios for job applications.

Hi szumaran, did you ever figure out a solution to this or who's the right person to contact?

Hi Bailey,

Have you figured out a solution to this issue? I also tried migrating my assets and didn't get an error message but no success email either, and my portfolio is still tied to my school account. Thanks!
