Hey Community,

we switched from our Adobe Console to a Resellers VIP programm Console. Basically they created a new console where we added the users and asigned the licenses.

What the unfortunately not told us is that all the data will not be migrated. We are using the cloud storage and mostly for Adobe Lightroom. What would be the best solution now for us?

- step back from the new contract and reactivate the old console

- migrate everything to the new console (from what we found out there is no way to migrate all Lightroom data including folder and library hierarchy automatically)
- also the Rest of the data can only be migrated in manual processes for every user
Can you confirm this? What would be a solution to avoid hours of manual work for us?

Thanks for helping
Simon

@OFFICE23678351rtd7 I would recommend contacting your Reseller and check if they can provide all those licenses in the old console as all the licenses, contract, billing, payment, etc. related issues are handled by them only.

If you still have active licenses under the old console, assign it to the users who can download the Lightroom files. If not, you can contact the Support team through chat or support ticket and we will try to recover the data from the backend in the next possible way.

Some addition. My thought is that the reseller made a mistake. Would it have been possible only to reuse the old console and Switch to VIP programm without creating a completely new one?

@SuJoshi Thanks for the reply. We applied to switch our old console from direct to Vip in order that the reseller can assign the licenses to the old console and we will continue to use this console.
After this switch was done we can eliminate the new console!

Yes, if there are no assets associated with the new console, you can ask the Reseller to cancel it.
