Teams: Deleted/Re-Invited User, Data Loss

New Here ,
Apr 24, 2017 Apr 24, 2017

One of our users had two licenses. We were going to remove one to give to another employee, so:

  1. Late last week, I removed the user from one of the two licenses and reassigned that license to the new employee.
  2. This morning, I was informed that I had removed the wrong account. I immediately revoked the new employee's license and reassigned it to the previous email address.
  3. That user is telling me the Cloud data is gone, including "project files."

I had thought that cloud assets on an account weren't immediately deleted upon license removal - doesn't Adobe allow a few days for a user to come up with a new license to preserve their cloud data? Is there any way to recover her data at this point?

Thank you!

Hi,

You are correct in stating that assets are not removed immediately, provided the account associated with the Adobe ID still exists and has not been deleted.

1. Please ensure the user is using the correct Adobe ID to log in.

2. Ask them to try to log in via the web interface. Go to the Creative Cloud Desktop App>Assets>Creative Cloud>View on Web.
