I have a creative cloud license which I pay monthly. My employer has offered to buy the software so I can cancel my subscription; use their license instead, and save my £30 per month subscription. Is this possible, and if so, how?

You could cancel your subscription. If you have a plan paid monthly with no annual commitment, then you should not incur a loss. For refund rules, refer the following link.

Look at the following link for information on how to cancel your subscription.

When an employer pays for the subscription, they own it.  They own the work you create with it, too, including your Behance and Portfolio pages.  Are you willing to give all that up to your employer when you leave the firm?

A better solution might be to keep an active Photography Plan ($10/month) for your own work.  And use the employer's plan for business-related projects only. That way nobody can cry foul play.

To possibly answer your specific question, Can your Subscription (License) be transferred to your employer?

The answer to that is No. As stated above your Employer can Subscribe to a plan, Enterprise ot Team account, and allow you to use it for their work and you can either Cancel your subscription or change it to a Photography plan subscription that will cost you less money each month.
