Trying to Deactivate CS3 and Caught in Adobe Loophole?

New Here ,
Oct 31, 2016 Oct 31, 2016

I am trying to deactivate a version of Master Collection CS3 and don't have access to the old computer it was on.  My new computer will not let me activate it after download and install.  I tried all the forums and could not find a solution.  Got caught in a repetitive loop.  Tried on-line chat and after several minutes they told me they don't support CS3 and I would have to try the forums.  Vicious cycle and loophole in the Adobe support at this point.  Please deactivate all my previous versions so I can run the CS3 on my new computer.

If you are using a volume license, you need to have volume installers. These are available from the Adobe Licensing Website, which requires you to be an admin for your organizations account. If you still have a problem please send me a personal message (click on my name) and I will investigate further.

Go back to chat and ask to have your activations reset.  If they won't do it, ask for a supervisor.  It is their job to reset activations, even if unsupported software.

If the supervisor won't do it, post a screen grab of the chat dialog and maybe an Adobe employee on these forums can be contacted.

Hi Darrenl91398469,

I have reviewed the Adobe ID you have utilized to post here, and found that Adobe CS 3 master collection is a volume license, hence moving this thread to Deployment for Creative Cloud for Team, Enterprise, & CS for quick and better help.
