I have students that are attempting to use the adobe software on our school Macs. When opening Illustrator or another app they are directed to sign into creative cloud. The first time they log in with the app majority of students are able to sign in without issue. The app asks them to create a school account and there are no more issues.
It appears that some of the students have previously created personal creative cloud accounts using their school email addresses. When they try to log into the apps they get the message "Sorry your account is not valid on this device. Please try again with school ID" When we try to create a new account it says there is already an account and signs them in using Google.
Does anyone have a workaround or an Idea of what to do?

One thing you can try. Have a student sign out from the Creative Cloud app (NOT the web site). Then watch them sign in. First step is to enter their email. Now, pause BEFORE entering the password (usually people continue without looking closely). Look for a choice of personal or enterprise account. If you see this choice, the student can choose enterprise and that may well fix it.
