Upgrading from individual to teams

In my business, as we've grown we've bought individual annual licences for our employees. 

 

We are now in a position where a Teams account would be better suited to our needs. 

 

All individual licences have different end dates. 

 

If we cancelled those individual licences, then added those exact email addresses to our Teams account, would we liable to pay the remaming balance of the individual licences up until the end of the conracted period?
