Hey, I am missing this Move button from the list items shown in this Express Manual here:
I am new to Express and just started to learn it so i do not know how long it has been gone. I have Express for Education account. I use Safari 18.2.
Is this a bug or a new feature? I really need that Move tool! Thanks.

Hi @#Minra, Thanks for reaching out, and Welcome to our community!!
This seems weird and shouldn't be happening. The 'MOVE' button is available for me for everything under the Your Stuff section. Can you test on other recommended browsers like Firefox, Edge, Safari, or Google Chrome & in their incognito/private browsing mode to see if it makes any difference?
Let me know about your observations!
Best,
Amitej

Thanks @Amitej S but unfortunately no luck with MacOS 14.7.2 with the following browsers:
Chrome 133.0.6943.142
Firefox 135.0.1
Safari 18.2
No Edge for my Mac.
So I created a logo and now I cannot move it to my project. I can copy it there but then double logo appears on my Files. If I delete both of them from Files, the logo I created goes to the trash bin entirely and is no longer available on the Project (as it was just a linkcopy).
The only place I can find the Move tool at all is under Your Stuff—> Libraries and there on a Library item.
I suppose it’s comforting to know the Move button supposed to be there for Files as well. I am taking an online class to learn to use Express and was learning ways to manage files and was so confused how to organize them because I could not move any Files anywhere. They just kept doubling as I copied them to the Projects and then cluttered the Files.
Hope there’s a solution to this.

Hi @#Minra
Thanks for bringing this up. I've never encountered this before either, but I'm wondering if it's related to the type of account you're using, like if your account only has access to specific locations or something. Are you using an enterprise-type account? I don't see the Show Location option in the menu for my files. I'm curious what it shows if you select this?
Thanks for your patience while we're trying to figure this out,
Dave

Thanks @David__B I have a school account that is listed as an Adobe for Enterprise. I use Express for Education version. I would assume that Enterprise account allows basic file management inside Express? Can I somehow check if there are somekind of limitations for this?
I copied a file (logo I created) from Files to a Project (Copy to) and then clicked on show location of the dublicate it created in Files and it took me to that project folder. This is fine and works as it should I assume for Show location button (I am assuming that the dublicate of the logo in Files should not be there though?). The same worked with all the browsers listed in the earlier message. If I was to use the same file (logo) for whatever reason for five different projects and would copy it to these projects (Copy to), then I would endup Files being cluttered with five douples of the file copied (logo) and the original file (logo). You can see how this can quickly become a file management problem in Files with missing Move button. Is there an option to create a folder in Files? I cannot see any button for this either. Anyway, it wont matter as longs as the Move button is missing from me.
I am sure the solution is somewhere out there.

Hi @#Minra
Thanks for the additional details. It could be a matter of the admin for your account needing to grant you access to move files. I'd recommend having someone who is an admin for your account (typically the IT department for the school) open a support ticket through the admin console. This kind of thing https://adobe.ly/4bpVHY2 They should be able to help.
