My company has decided that rather than purchasing a license for each individual in my team on their own work email address, they'd prefer to start assigning licenses via the Adobe for teams system.
While I understand and agree with what they're wanting to do as it's less scrambling for invoices, this requires me to cancel my subscription and then obviously wait a few days until I get my license assigned to me. That being said, I'm a bit scared that I lose any of my existing portoflio work that is currently linked to my mail.
Anyone know if my worry is valid or if it should be fine?

I am unable to find any active license under the account which you have used to post this query.
As you are using Adobe ID, once the new license is assigned to the same account then the cloud assets will be accessible again. Please make sure to get the same cloud storage you had with the Individual subscription.

I think you may lose all cloud and portfolio files. But assuming you have a backup, you can use it for the new account. This is a maybe - but you'll certainly want complete backups...
