Adobe Fonts for Package Design

Hi

I cannot say any specific details on this forum, but I am currently making a design for a DVD package.

I've looked through the user guide for Font Licensing and I am 90% sure that I'm allowed to use the fonts from Adobe.

I'm still new to the industry, so I just want to be 100% sure that I am not violating any rules.

The (Japanese) fonts I will be using are the following

・DNP 秀英丸ゴ
・FOT-ロダン ProN

日本の方のように思えるので、日本語で回答します。

Adobe Fontsのライセンス関連の件は、FAQを読むのがいいでしょう。

ざっくり言ってしまえば、利用範囲としてはかなり緩いです。

また、オリジナルの提供元とは異なる権利関係にあるので、あくまでもAdobe Fontsでの利用はAdobe側のライセンス契約をもとにします。

注意したいのは、オリジナルの提供元フォントと混在利用した場合の区別です。

大日本印刷オリジナル版フォントは一般ユーザーが利用することはまずないですが、フォントワークスのものは混在する可能性はあるので、念のため区分がある点は注意しておきましょう。

（といってもLETS提供のものなり、モリサワ提供の秀英フォントでも、通常のパッケージデザインの利用としてのライセンス的な縛りはあまり厳しいわけではありませんが）
