Hello,

we are currently deploying the Self-Service-Package from Adobe for some user with our software deployment. The Self Service Package is working fine and the users can install and update their application on their own.

Is it possible to have the Auto Update inside Self-Service-Package enabled? Currently there is no option to enable it. I'm searching this feature, but it seems to be not included in the Self-Service-Package: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

We would like to make sure, that all the installed apps are up to date, so there can't be any security issue. We don't like to give this responsibilty to our end-user.

I hope you understand my problem.

Thanks in advance

Nico

Another option to manage updates is via. Remote update manager with or without AUSST. You can use the command-line interface to remotely invoke the Adobe Update Manager and install updates with administrative privileges. This will search for the installed applications on the client machine and try to fetch the updates from Adobe Server.

AUSST enables you to centralize the download of Adobe apps and updates to a single server location. After this, you redirect your end-users to download the Adobe apps from this internal server location.
