can't save a pdf to a unc path

Hello -

I have a customer that is unable to save or open PDF files from a UNC path in Acrobat 11 in an XD7.6 published app on Windows 2012r2, any ideas?

The format for a network path \\server\folder\file.pdf is

/SERVER/FOLDER/FILE.PDF

This is on a Windows 2012 server and the users have a UNC path that they are navigating to.  The error the users are getting is:

The disk you were saving to or the disk used for temporary files is full. Free some space on this disk and try again, or save to a different disk.
