Creative Cloud Manager app fails to upgrade on AWS Workspaces and freezes other apps

We have been using AWS workspaces and Adobe CC in our company for a few years without problems. Lately Adobe Creative Cloud Manager fails to update, and when that happens, inDesign freezes (both build 14 and 13). For the time being, the only workaround we have found (we publish 5 newspapers in this environment) is to kill inDesign from windows task manager, then close all Adobe apps and kill all adobe background processes. Then we re-open cloud manager, do not update, and close. After that we can re-open inDesign to work on pages. Amazon Workspaces uses Windows Server 2016 in the background, and provides a windows 10 experience for the user. I suspect there must be some new windows 10 features required behind the latest adobe updates (probably Windows Creators update or Universal Windows Platform) that are not present on windows server 2016, or maybe some Microsoft licensing issue. Anyway, this is reason for serious concern, as we cannot publish outside this environment and we do not know if the Adobe CC suite will continue to work in AWS Workspaces in the future. We pay individual Adobe licenses for every user, and individual Microsoft licenses are included in the Amazon Workspace bundle we use, so licensing should not be a problem in theory. I just want Adobe to be aware, as it is likely that in the future more and more corporate users will be working in virtual environments. In our case, we cannot backtrack on the decision to take all our operations to the cloud and are not able to relinquish AWS Workspaces.
