PLEASE HELP US! A sincere thanks to Adobe for providing students and faculty complimentary at-home access to Creative Cloud software to those Universities who use your product in their labs this past Spring semester. This was a lifesaver for the students/faculty and demonstrates Adobe's commitment to education. We can't thank you enough for your support. You made an enormous difference to the outcome of the semester!

We again are in the process of setting up safety measures for Fall 2020 in efforts to curtail spreading the coronavirus, my University made the tough decision to move nearly all classes online for Fall 2020.
Complimentary at-home access to Creative Cloud apps ended on July 6, 2020, for students and faculty. Would you PLEASE consider extending this program to Universities with Adobe contracts who go online for Fall 2020 due to COVID-19 and students' safety?

In addition, Spring semester, typically I teach 3 sections of a software course (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) which includes Studio Arts Ceramics/Wood/Sculpture, etc students who will not need access to the software after the Spring semester. Your student plan is a $19.99 YEARLY contract. Would you please consider providing an affordable 15-week semester student contract? This would remedy the problem of students paying a yearly contract for something they can't afford or need after the semester ends. Our students are first-generation college students living in rural areas with low incomes.

So many people and businesses are being affected by this coronavirus...it would be a humble gesture to continue to show your support once again to help the students thought this tough time. This sincere gesture from Adobe will tremendously help assist students in their learning experience as we continue to work through this pandemic.

Thanks for reaching out, we understand your concern.

The COVID-19 Edu access was only available until the 6th of July 2020, however, Adobe is introducing new options to make licensing more accessible for your students.

Speak to your Adobe Account Executive or Authorized Reseller for more information.

Thanks to the original poster who said it so well.

For faculty needing to make decisions about which software to use for school this fall, time is of the essence.  1) Is there a date when these new options will be available?  2) How does one contact the Adobe Account Executive or Authorized Reseller for more information?

I contacted our account rep after Adobe Customer Service told us they could ask for an exception. He handles Edu contract for the state of MD...we were not given a Fall exception. This means we need to try to find the budget, or pass the cost on to the students. If anyone has had better luck please post.

This response from Adobe is disheartening, disappointing, and ultimately not surprising.
