We currently use Acrobat Pro DC 2017 Classics - 17.011.30070

Office 2016 Pro Plus x86 - 16.0.4266.1001

We are looking into Office Pro Plus 2016 x64

A few questions, is there a 64bit version of Acrobat Pro DC 2017 Classic or is is one installer?

A re-image will be the preferred way to install this with office, however it might not be possible since some machines are already deployed.  So an uninstall of office 32 bit and a reinstall of 64 bit might have to be an option.  As of now it is in the planning phase.  I would like to know if the problems associated with either switching version of office, or working with the 64 bit version of office with this version of acrobat.  If there are any known issues please let em know.

Thanks

no, 32 bit only - so far.

you should be able to use any current version of office with a current os but you can expect problems with acrobat if you use any method other than a proper installation.

So currently i am using a script that installs acrobat via sccm, according the approved process worked on with adobe support

Created a mst using the customization wizard

Install acrobat with the customized mst ( offline activation granted)

Install any acrobat patches msp

Run the adobe_prtk.exe --tool=VolumeSerialize --provfile=prov.xml ( Options set for my company)

For office 32 bit this also adds the acrobat add-in to office.  I assume this would be the same steps for a x64 office install.

The only other question would be if I cannot do a re-image and have to install office x64, would a repair, or a full uninstall of acrobat also be needed since the acrobat msi installer might no longer have the correct references to any installed components.  I know when msi's install they update the registry with components and can trigger a repair if these components are not in the correct place.
