In our company we have several installs of Creative Cloud where the end user may not run the program for an extended period of time. The Adobe Remote Update Manager seems to take care of the apps underneath Creative Cloud such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop, but not the Creative Cloud desktop app itself. It appears that the only way CC updates is if a licensed user opens and logs into the app. It then checks for and automatically installs the newest version of Creative Cloud.
My question is, is there a way to kick off a Creative Cloud update without the need of the user to open and log into the app?
Hello,
As an admin, you can create a self-service or managed package from the admin console and deploy it on the user's machine which will also update the creative cloud desktop app.
