Ever since the migration from the old forums.adobe.com to the new community.adobe.com forums, I've been working to find a new home for the previous Add-ons/Extensions forum: https://forums.adobe.com/community/creative_cloud/add-ons/extensions
Initially, threads migrated from Add-ons/Extensions were moved to Get Started -> Exchange: https://community.adobe.com/t5/get-started/bd-p/get-started?page=1&sort=relevance&filter=all&topics=... This was not ideal, since "Get Started" speaks to either Creative Cloud beginners and/or forum newbies. Many people who distribute on the Exchange are advanced Creative Cloud users, long-time scripters, developers, and coders.
Although absent immediated after the initial migration, many scripter/developer subforums have returned under their respective product umbrellas, for example, the Premiere Pro SDK area, although absent initially, has since been re-created by community members here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/bd-p/premiere-pro?page=1&sort=relevance&filter=all&topic...
In case you happen to be looking for one of the old sub-forums, I have come up with this chart:
Number of posts | Product | Topic Label |
Destination Board
|
2612 | After Effects | Scripting
After Effects | SDK | ||
10 | Audition | SDK | |
875 | Bridge | Scripting | |
4806 | Illustrator | Scripting
Illustrator | SDK | ||
18387 | InDesign | Scripting
InDesign | SDK | ||
InDesign | Server developers
6404 | Photoshop | Actions and scripting
Photoshop | SDK | ||
463 | Premiere Pro | SDK | |
595 | After Effects | Expressions
292 | Adobe Animate | Exchange extensions
428 | Download & Install - formerly known as "Get Started" | Exchange
30609 | Animate | ActionScript
4 | XD | XD Extensibility | |
13783 | Dreamweaver | Server side applications
Dreamweaver | Extensions
491 | Lightroom Classic | SDK
79759 | Total |
Let me know if I've missed anything.
Stay tuned as many threads from before the migration are scheduled to be restored from the archive later this month.
I noticed some of these links have changed. Here's an updated table:
Product | Topic | URL |
After Effects | Expressions | https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/bd-p/after-effects?topics=label-expressions |
After Effects | Scripting | https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/bd-p/after-effects?topics=label-scripting |
After Effects | SDK | https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects/bd-p/after-effects?topics=label-sdk |
Animate | ActionScript | https://community.adobe.com/t5/animate/bd-p/animate?topics=label-actionscript |

You missed this one (hover to see original link): XMP_SDK / source:
Recover old theads about XMP toolkit sdk build for Android and iOS

Yes about XMP, this is vital in some industries!
I moved relevant posts from Labs and Download and Install.
I also untagged exchange the posts that should not have that tag in the D&I forum, up to 3 pages down.
Several posts I did not add a move mention, as it takes so much time, so one might want to dig down the threads here to see if posts/ new questions in replied threads can be answered.

And Dave K's team agreed to my suggestion to move the posts that still had an exchange tag in Download and Install to this very forum, hence the increase in numbers...

Hi @PECourtejoie,
Thanks for moving those threads!
The old forum threads are slated to be moved live soon, the JIRA ticket is now "in Test".
Unfortunately I missed the mention of the XMP SDK forums... I could ask as a new request, but I don't know where they should go in the new forums. Is the XMP SDK related to this page or these pages? Just checking!

I think neither both links are good for XMP_SDK, I mean those sites are created for mobile apps, while XMP is universal. Metadata stored in graphics documents can be read / rewriten by editors or scripting. In other thread you visited I left a link to XMP_SDK documentation you perhaps went to: Aug 31, 2020?

The older threads have been migrated (unarchived). I have updated the chart above with the number of posts that were moved.

I noticed some of these links have changed. Here's an updated table:
I don't have XMP news at this time, but I'm following up with that.

There's still no one section, of which I wrote between other things on Oct 02, 2020.

Like the xmp forum I am missing the PDF Language and Specification Forum which used to be here:
https://forums.adobe.com/community/design_development/pdf_language_and_specifications
It was an important place to discuss PDF specification releated topics and now it is just gone 😐

Hi, @Erin F. I was wondering if there isn't a need to add a UXP tag in this very forum...

UXP has own forum led by its creators, so I don't think that should be good idea to add UXP tag on here - where the users would not get help from first hand. Additionally making two forums about the same theme would be alike situation we just ended, so moving Photoshop Family forums to Khoros platform.

I never heard about that one!
I'll peruse and promote it...

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. I agree that having two separate forums on the same topic could fragment the community and make it harder for users to get accurate, first-hand information. The official UXP forum, led by its creators, seems to be the best place for users to engage and get direct support. Duplicating this effort could lead to confusion, similar to the situation we saw with the transition of the Photoshop Family forums to the Khoros platform.
