Hi, we have developed an extension Specees for Illustrator for some years. We have tested it with cc2021 and it works well. However, recently we have quite a few users reported that our extension does not work after installing Illustrator cc2021. Some of them said the extension works again after uninstall and re-install it in the Creative Cloud App, but a few said this method didn't work for them.
Anyone else experience the similar situation? This is really frustrating as we simply don't know what went wrong and what we can do.

Just got another user's report:
"I closed AI 2021, then downloaded AI2020 again. Opened AI2020 and it was there just like before. Then I closed 2020, and launched 2021 and it showed up fine. I didn't have to do anything... although, I am very suspicious... so may have to contact you later if I have problems. But for now, she's working fine."
Any clue to suggest for us to look for a solution?
We are also wondering if this is caused by the CEP version we are using. We are using CEP 7 for backward compatibility. It works well when we test it in cc2021. But would it be the reseon why users encounter issue when they upgraded to Illustrator cc2021?

Hello,
I have the exact same issue with my inDesign plugin. The only "workaround" we have is to ask clients to install inDesign 2020 and the plugin magically appears in inDesign 2021. If you ever have a better solution please post it here, I'm interested 🙂

No better solutions up to now..... either 1. Uninstall then reinstall or 2. install cc2020.
This is quite frustrating.
