Hi,
My Fireworks doesnt work anymore. I got creative cloud, but it wants me to fill in a license key.
Any help?
Kind regards, Vincent
1 Correct answer
1. Open CC Desktop App.
2. Click your Avatar (top right image) > Preferences > General tab > Settings. Select "Always keep Creative Cloud up to date."
3. Click on your Avatar again.
4. Sign-out of Creative Cloud.
5. Close all apps.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Open CC Desktop app.
8. Click your Avatar.
9. Sign-in with your paid Adobe ID and password.
When prompted, hit License this product. If it fails to launch, try installing Muse. Don't ask why but it seems to work for some people.

Thank you!
To fix this, here is what I did:
- Install Muse
- Open Muse and sign in when prompted
- Close Muse
- Open Fireworks
No more Trial prompt!
The next test will be to unistall Muse and see if it still works.

I just uninstalled Muse and tested. Still no Trial prompt.
All in all, a weird fix. But it worked.

Close Fireworks. launch the Creative Cloud app and logout.... Relaunch Fireworks, if you see a 'License This Software' button (check out the forums too for other solutions).
Also try running FIreworks as an administrator
Other thing you can try is to uninstall Fireworks completely, then install with an offline installer instead from here *NOTE* Make sure you visit this page first before downloading to set an Adobe cookie, these are links to official Adobe installers. I always install Fireworks with the offline installer and have not had any issues running/using Fireworks on Windows 10 and Windows 11.
Assumption here is you are on a PC?

Please, what is Muse? I am not familiar with it. Where do you download it from?

Try here: https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-2019-direct-download-links.html these are actually links to adobe offline installers.... I would suggest also to download the offline installer for Fireworks, do a clean install of Fireworks with it and you may find you don't need the Muse workaround.
