Do you have a PAID Creative Cloud ALL Apps plan?
Can you download Muse? That sometimes helps Creative Cloud users get beyond the licensing prompt.

I have Creative Cloud All Apps. When I run it as administrator "Your trial has expired" shows up. Which makes sense since I've done a workaround (wich includes "not running it as admin").

Removing "run as admin" on PDapp.exe allowed Muse to launch (didn't launch with admin mode). And that did the trick for Fireworks Trial Notice.
Problem solved! Thank you!

The same here, NOT working after these steps - clicking app does nothing, running as administrator shows trial dialog with 0 days left. Please advise!

I am having the EXACT same problem - clicking the Fireworks app no longer opens up anything.
Running Fireworks as Administrator immediately shows the Trial has expired dialog.
Will try Nancy OSheas suggestion...
Anyways, again (!) quite frustrating that the product did run for years without problems and now that? Thanks Adobe..

Letting the PDApp (C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\core) run in admin mode causes Fireworks immediately quit after opening. This is what the author an me are encountering. A few days ago this did not happen and everything was fine. Removing the Admin Mode for PDapp.exe will actually open Fireworks but then show the Trial Expired Dialog resulting in the neccessity to provide a Serial Number, which nobody has.

Hi Jan,
I think in actual fact, all the PDapp.exe trick did was suppress the trial countdown window, have you tried some of these:
1) Try running Fireworks as an adminstrator
2) If you see a 'license this software' button - click it ... in some cases this resolves the issue
3) For quite a few people uninstalling Fireworks (reboot system after uninstall) and then reinstalling with an offline installer has worked, this has worked for people on both Windows and Mac in some cases. Download an offline installer from here *IMPORTANT* you must visit this page first to set an Adobe cookie otherwise the download will fail. Install Fireworks with the installer and see if it will launch, if you see a 'license this software' button click it.
4) Make sure Fireworks is closed - Launch the Creative Cloud App, click you profile icon (top right) => and sign out, then click => file => exit to close the Creative Cloud app - Launch Firework, and you should be prompted to sign in, login with your Adobe Creative Cloud details, click the 'license this software' button if you see it, did Fireworks launch successfully?

Thanks Paul!
None of the solutions worked but I still need to try 3).
Ha - Now I got it working with the MUSE trick! Previously Muse stated it is not supported - I relogged to Adobe Create Cloud and started MUSE and then MUSE did show the following dialog:
After that I started Fireworks and it showed up the UI and also the Licensing Dialog, which I was able to skip by clicking "Continue Trial". PDApp is running without Admin Mode
