Flash Builder debug error infinite loop - 100% cpu

Starting flash builder debug causes the fb process to spike to 100% along with syslogd (osx) and must be manually killed.

Checking the sys log and I get the messages at the bottom of this post over and over until I kill the process.  I'm guessing it's infinite, but in truth I only waited about 10-20 secs before killing it.

After finally noticing the process and syslodg spiking, I saw the null and FlexLineBreakpoint and cleared all the breakpoints and the error went away.  I'm guessing I had a breakpoint set in a file/line that no longer exists.  Seems like a bug to me, but I'll leave that to someone else to decide.

Here are some keywords for the future searchers of the world that I used when trying to figure out what was going on:  Flash builder debugger not working, flash builder firefox crash, flash builder osx crash, flash builder hang osx.

Scratch that.  It happens any time I try to set a breakpoint...

Are you using Flash Builder 4?

I remember this being fixed for Flash Builder 4.5.

If this issue is the same (looks like that from the log), then a release module/RSL/SWF is being loaded by the application (which is a debug SWF).

If this is Flash Builder 4.5, please post your full log file and I'll fix it straight away.

Also, I don't think there is an infinite loop (assuming this is the same issue). We'll confirm based on your Flash Builder version and the full log.

(The log file is located at workspacedir/.metadata/.log)

That sounds like it then.  I'm using:

Adobe Flash Builder Localized Standalone Feature 4.0.0.272416 com.adobe.flexbuilder.feature.standalone.nl1.feature.group

I think I'll put off the upgrade until after this project is complete.  In the meantime, I'll continue using flash.debugger.enterDebugger() to force a breakpoint from within code which works perfectly.
