I tried to access the Flash Builder help, and it launched the Air app. Bit surprised it was an AIr app, but okay. The app immediately offered to update itself to a newer version, an offer that I accepted. The update failed, and now I have no Flash Builder help Air app.

Now, when I select help, it goes to the online web page. But, I need to read the help while offline. How do I get the Air app back?

Thanks.

You can run the AIR app separately, it should still be on your system (Applications > Adobe > Adobe Help or the root of your Start menu on windows).

If for some reason the app isn't there, reinstall it from http://www.adobe.com/support/chc/. There's a preference under Edit > Preferences > General Settings for "Accessibility Mode". If you select "Open Help in browser", your Adobe applications will open a browser instead of launching CHC.

I'm using Fb4 on Mac. I also have CS5 installed. When my caret is on class name and hit 'Shift-F2', Fb4 opens up Adobe Community Help (ACH) correctly with the class API shown. But, when my caret is on a method of a framework class, it doesn't show the method API anymore. It instead takes me to the Fb help home page. This used to work before for me. I've tried reinstalling ACH and it didn't help.

Any idea?

I followed the instructions at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/842/cpsid_84215.html and that fixed the problem.
