I am migrating from Flex builder 2.0.1 to Flash Builder 4.5(downloaed free trial version) and select SDK 3.6. It seems to compile w/o any errors, but, when I uploaded the swf file to the server and try to access it using IE8 it hangs on initialization for 2 out of 3 tests. I am trying to figure out what is causing this. I also created a tiny MXML application and uploaded to the server and still hangs on initialization so this might not be related to the migration. Here is the test I have done. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

XP home, IE 8 with flash version 10.1.52.14: OK

XP prof: IE 8 with flash version 10.2.152.26: hangs

XP home, Chrome with flash version 10.3.181.14: hangs

Can you point us to the URL for the tiny MXML application so that we can check it out?

LATEST

This issue has been resolved by including the latest version of fds.swc. We are using flex data service and it was the reason for the hanging.
