I am using Flash Builder 4 with LCDS 3.1 with Tomcat or Jboss 4.2.3.

Issues with Jboss

Created a sample client and lcds server, configured an oracle datasource. Can successfully configure RDS and drop the tables on the model design view but while deploying the model to lcds server, get Hibernate ClassCastExceptions. I am not sure what Hibernate related configurations need to be done with LCDS when starting fresh.

Issues with Tomcat

Cant even get the RDS to configure, keep getting Internal Server Errors.

Pls help

thanks

Hi,

Please find JBOSS specific configuration for LCDS here http://help.adobe.com/en_US/LiveCycleDataServicesES/3.1/Installing/lcds31_install.html#Additional_se...

On Tomcat, can you please share details of errors. Also see if this article helps http://sujitreddyg.wordpress.com/2009/06/18/tutorial-on-model-driven-development-using-flash-builder...

Hope this helps.

Thank you, I tried for JBoss 5.1 and it worked. However the JBoss 5 authentication step gave all sorts of errors which I skipped.

Glad it helped. Follow the authentication related configuration steps only if you want to secure the destinations.

Using JBoss 5.1, I am now able to deploy the model and can see the getAll() results in the dataGrid, however when trying any CRUD operations, I get

org.hibernate.TransactionException : JDBC commit failed and

java.sql.SQLException: You can not commit during a managed transaction

what do I need to change?
