No upgrade path to Flash builder 4.7

Hi i am the owner of CS5.5 with a valid serial key that worked well with 4.6 but i have now no way of upgrading to 4.7 because the serial is not recognized. please help

Flash Builder 4.7 was not a free upgrade.

However, I am pretty sure it is discontinued, since Flash Player - and hence any use for Flash Builder (right?) - is going away forever in just over 8 months time.
