11.7.700.169 Installation Script Errors

When attempting to "retrieve" the install, I get a error running scripts dialog box. It occers on both of my computers. I'm using Windows XP. I was able to install the flash player from a 3rd party, but it only works in IE. Other software that requires flash dos not recognise the installation.
