Adobe Flash Player Installation Issue

While installing Adobe Flash Player Plugin and ActiveX the installation failed with the below

"Error Code : 1771 , Error Message : A floating-point overflow occurred at the RPC server."

We tried many times it occur the same issue.

Please give solution to fix this issue.

Hi,

I'm not familiar with this error message. As we have many different installer files, please provide the name of the installer files you are using. After providing that information we can proceed with further troubleshooting steps.

This is the Filename of the installer "install_flash_player_ppapi.exe" i am using. Which cause trouble while using in Chinese machine with the above error.

The download link was http://fpdownload.adobe.com/pub/flashplayer/latest/help/install_flash_player_ppapi.exe

If you're in China, the installer you are attempting to use will not work. When attempting to use that installer, your default browser should have launched to Flash Player官方下载-Flash中国官网 Did the browser launch or not?

We'd like to review the installation log file(s) saved at:

32-bit OS: C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall32.log
64-bit OS: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall32.log AND C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall64.log
- Both files are required from a 64-bit OS

Also, provide a screenshot of the error message.

Upload the files to cloud.acrobat.com/send using the instructions at How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud , or some other file sharing service that doesn't require user login to access. Post the link to the uploaded file in your reply.
