Adobe Flash Player not installing

I have been trying to update my adobe flash player for a couple days now and it keeps getting stuck at 90% every single time. I have uninstalled flash player, I have tried using different browsers, and I have tried using the offline version (but the only gets to like 14% for some reason and doesn't give me a reason). So now I don't even have it installed since I've uninstalled it at this point. I have also updated my mac to the newest update to see if that would make a difference too. But, nothing has worked and my connection is very fast so it has nothing to do with my internet either. I've looked for this everywhere and it says to just install a "clean version" but no matter what I do I can't find the Library that you need in finder.

Operating system version: OS X El Captain 10.11.6

Web browser version: Safari 10.0

Flash Player Version: None, since I uninstalled it trying to update the version

For some reason it didn't add anything to the install.log when it failed to install, so I just put in all the install logs from today since I have been trying for awhile. Also, don't understand what you want me to upload?

The FAQ lists 4 log files: install.log, FlashPlayerInstallManager.log, Adobe_ADM.log, and Adobe_GDE.log. You only provided one of the 4. Since the 4 files are quite long to post to the forums we request they be uploaded to cloud.acrobat.com/send.

Since nothing is being written to the install.log file the failure is happening before the step that writes to that log file. Please provide the other 3 files.

Have you installed any updates recently? If so, what are they and when were they installed?

In Terminal (/Applications/Utilities/Terminal) run the following 2 commands and post the output of both:

ls -ale@ /

You can post it here or paste it into a file and upload it to cloud.acrobat.com/send.

I only installed the newest update for my mac after this newest update for adobe flash player wouldn't work, so I tried to troubleshoot it by downloading and installing the newest update for my mac. Also, is there any way that I can call someone or something more efficient to help me with this? This has taken way to long at this point and I can't do anything about it... It has been like this for 4 days at this point and I can't even install the first thing for it still.

This is actually an issue with your system not Flash Player installer. This is the cause of the failure:

I performed an internet search for the second part of the output and found quite a few hits on this with several different software installation, not just Flash Player, in recent days. When installing software, files are written to a tmp location first. In this case the OS installer utility is trying to write to a directory that should be there but is missing, has wrong permissions, or has a broken link to it (this is what I've seen from searching the internet for this error). I'm not sure what the exact fix for it is. Some people simply upgrade to macOS Sierra, which really isn't a fix since they're simply installing a new OS and resetting whatever permissions were on the directory, or re-creating the directory.

The two items I have in bold in the log file output, that are returning the failure, are system utility applications that are used when installing (any) software. See PackageKit and installer for more information on these.
