An online game I used to be able to play on my Macbook pro, which relays upon the latest version of flash, will no longer work. I've tried everything. the company who makes the game tell me I have malware in my Mac, but apple tells me the company needs to update their drivers. The company tells me it appears flash is not installed on my machine, but it clearly is however their hardware recognizes it's there, but it does not work. The Iom words perfectly on a PC so it's obviously not the hardware. Something in my Mac is blocking flash. Can anyone help?

What version of Mac system are you currently using? The 10.11 does not support certain aspects of Flash player. There are others here that can best direct you and if they don't chime in I will contact....

You prob. have gone this route but if not give this a try and see if there is anything that rings a bell concerning the issue you are having: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/troubleshoot-games-video-audio-flash.html
If this doesn't help please ding me again and this time I will contact a Flash Pro person that might best help you!
I am also on a Mac and continue to use Flash player for many aspects and thus no problem but I do not use as you are.
I am sure you have installed the latest Flash Player? If not- Adobe Flash Player download

Hi Kat, I still cannot play the game. Itās being blockedā¦ This particular game was created on a Mac.. I have no idea why they can run the hardware and I canāt. With the early Yosemite, I was able to use the software, then Apple had an update and I have not been able to use it since. As I said, my Mac recognizes that the hardware is there, it just wonāt run. I know their products rely upon flash to run. Everything else I use works fine except for this game.

Juliette, one more request: can you post the website for Wilddive Games? I would like to see what my system does with this. I googled but came up empty on links. I will contact couple of persons I know that are Flash pros in the meantime.
Sorry, you are having this issue and hopefully can find a solution soon!

www.wilddivineonline.com <http://www.wilddivineonline.com/> The site comes up, but you need the hardware, which is called an Iom, to play. The Iom is what is not working on my Macā¦ It does work on an old PC I have.

Thanks. I will try to carve out time today and check out. But looks like a hardware problem between iom and the Mac system- as you have stated.

Since you have contacted Wild Divine concerning a hardware update for the IOM this is prob. where the issue lies. Think Apple is correct in stating that an update is needed. I would keep after the Wild Divine persons to update their hardware. I have had bouncing issues in the past and each says it is the others problem. Keep after them....
Wish could be more helpful with your issue but don't think Flash Player is the problem.

Unfortunately, they are of no help. Wild Divine blames Apple, Apple says Wild Divine needs to update their drivers. I am reaching out to anyone who can possibly help. This has been such a run-around.
Thank you for trying.

I will continue work to see what I can locate on my end. Wish that could give you a more definitive results. Issues such as this one often fall into the unknown and often down the road it gets resolved by the powers that be- i.e. the developers of the program. Not a quick resolution to your issue but hopefully soon. Meantime I hope that your old PC will continue to function as the program seems to have many great attributes for the user- i.e. you and others. Sorry that the solution was not found on this forum!

Thank you for taking the time to investigate at all. I believe you are comment that it will be resolved when they absolutely have to update the drivers. Not a large enough number of folks play so there is no need for them to bend over backward. One day I will plug the IOM in and it will be working again.
Warmly,
Juliette

It looks like a great attribute for mediation which I think we all need this day and time with the fast pace of just staying focused on creative thoughts. Hopefully "one day" it will work as it should. Technology is great but when it doesn't keep up with the pace of all it can be a stumbling block. Best in all your endeavors and again sorry that we could not solve your issue!
