t anything is downloading. I wait and wait --- nothing. I have run flashplayer unistall. I checked and active x enabled. But "shockwave objects" doesn't show

Download the executable installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html and save it to disk, then close all browser windows and run the downloaded installer.
