Cannot uninstall Adobe Download Manager

New Here ,

My flash player has stopped working, I am Windows Vista! I have tried uninstalling flash player and re-installing, I keep getting an Installation error message:-  getPlus+(R):error

(16260.203.319-73172312.80004002.ffffffff.80004002)

I have also tried to un-install Adobe Download Manager (NOS Microsystems Ltd) with no success.

Please can someone shed some light on this subject as I have been so frustrated over the last two weeks with not being able to run flash?

Bobby

See the troubleshooting tips in this article http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html; especially the uninstaller mentioned in part 1, and the offline installer links in part 5 (they do not use the download manager).
