delete old installer version

There is an outdated version of Adobe Flash installer on my computer that I want to delete. It pops up everytime I restart computer.

When I drag old installer into trash from Finder window, I get message that it can't be deleted. (I have current version installed, don't need this one.)

Please advise--thanks!

IS the DMG mounted?

Do you see an icon like that on your desktop?

Yes, I have that icon (w/o MB info).

When I drag icon to trash, it's ejected.

Even though it shows up in Trash, and is gone from Trash after emptied, it comes back next time.

I just trashed it again tonight and will see if it stays away this time...
