Does it matter what GPU you have?

I get a lot of flash player crashed errors when I try to play games on miniclip.com and I didn't used to get them back when I had my older computer. I just recently put together this $500 gaming pc and I am not sure whether the GPU can cause crashing issues for flash player. Also, I've already updated my drivers and also tried older drivers but the issue persists. Thanks in advance for help!

Please see the video troubleshooting guide:

If you disable hardware acceleration and the crashes go away, it's most likely driver related.  If you're on Win10, and/or have new hardware, it's possible that there's a bug that needs to be fixed by your GPU vendor.

If you disable hardware acceleration and the problem persists, it's something else, and a crash log would be useful.

Hi Chris,

There is dependency on GPU for some graphics content and we work to provide a consistent performance over different GPUs. Please be more specific with the problem and the platform on which you can reproduce the issue. Also, share the dxdiag for your system.

Cool, so it's probably a hardware driver problem.

Update your drivers and re-enable hardware acceleration.  If the problem goes away, your GPU vendor fixed the issue already.  If the problem persists, you should disable hardware acceleration in Flash as a workaround, and reach out to your GPU vendor with instructions on how to reproduce the problem, so that they can investigate and fix it in a future update.
