Enabling Flash Player

In attempting to watch a live streaming news broadcast, a pop-up states that, “You need Flash to watch this video.”  It also stated that the browser doesn’t support Flash, needs a Flash update, and a third statement that Flash has been disabled.  The “Flash update” was clicked and it took me to “Flash Player issues | Windows 10 | Microsoft Edge”.  The page had this statement, “Flash Player is integrated with Microsoft Edge in Windows 10. You do not need to install Flash Player.”  It also gives five steps see if the Flash Player is enabled.  The steps they provided were done, going to settings, advance settings, and locate the “Use Adobe Flash Player” section; toggle the switch on to enable Adobe Flash Player.  All five steps was completed even refreshing the web page.  Still no results in seeing this broadcast, I can on Firefox. The operation is a Window 10 on a PC.

First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:

Internet Explorer 11 and Edge introduce a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.

You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:

If that is too inconvenient, using Google Chrome may be a preferable alternative.
