Unable to get Flash Player with either browser.

Get stuck in a loop.  Browser claims that Flash not installed (as shown from Adobe "test flash" web page)..  Go to install and get the Win 10 supports Flash and it's already installed.

Did find the enable Flash instruction (Flash was already enabled)

Also found instructions to disable ActiveX Filtering (already disabled)

Still can't get flash to test successful from the Adobe Flash Player issues with Windows 10 (Microsoft Edge)

Hi,

Is this on an administrator or standard user account?

I am also getting this same exact problem on my laptop.  And I'm an administrator within our Tech Services department.  I've developed a Learning Management System where users can watch short, interactive videos to learn about all of our applications.  Ever since I upgraded my laptop to Windows 10, I can no longer watch the videos within Internet Explorer.  I keep getting redirected to that darn Flash Test Page.  Even after following the instructions on that page, still no luck.   So I end up having to watch the videos within Google Chrome.  Please....  I'm hoping SOMEONE has a solution...  otherwise when everyone upgrades to Windows 10 and IE 11 next year, no one will be able to watch my videos!

Hi BCTech ,

What is the PlayerPath value for the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Macromedia\FlashPlayerActiveX entry?  If this is a 64-bit OS, what is the PlayerPath value for the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Macromedia\FlashPlayerActiveX entry?

Does the file name in the registry match with the file name in the C:\WINDOWS\System32\Macromed\Flash\ (and C:\WINDOWS\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\ is 64-bit) directory?

I'm having the same issue... Creator's Update, Edge, Settings > Advanced > Flash enabled.

But the test page (and any web page with flash) says that Flash is not enabled. Here is the registry and folder information.

Was it working prior to the Creator's Update?  What version did you have prior to the Creator's Update?

It had been working prior to Creator's update, but I don't know at what point it started failing.  I don't know if it started failing right at Creator's update, or sometime before then.  So I can't provide any input on whether or not Creator's has anything to do with it.  I just know that Flash used to work, and now it's not.

I also don't have any idea what version of Flash I had before Creator's because the Flash support is just simply built into Edge.  As far as the Win10 version before Creators, it was the latest version of Win10 pro.  Aniversary update was the last major one, but I keep Win10 updated with all the latest patches.
