Hi,
I have been using FP for a long time. yesterday i downloaded Opera and when i signed off i use a file cleaner program to empty files, cookies etc. this has also been done for a long time. today, i am trying to use a website i have used before and all i can get is the icon where i have an option for settings, global settings. I have tried it on two different computers with FF, IE, Opera and Chrome.
Thank you

Hi, What is your Operating System and is it a 64bit or 32bit system?
Also, go to this test site and use each browser(except Chrome) and let me know if you can see the Flash Player logo(Red F)
animate(spin)
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
Also what version of Flash Player is displayed as Installed?
The issue you describe, is this happening with each browser? If not, which one or ones?
Thanks,

Thanks for your response. I am running XP and have 10.3.181.34 installed. Each browser, ie, ff, and opera show rotating f and correct version. The link I am trying to see is as follows and shows only the icon in each browser;
http://www.fxservice.com/analytics/market-vision-tv/
Thank you

Ok, thanks. Your Flash Player then is working correctly. I went to the site and under the "Market Vision TV" that small icon you spoke of? I right clicked on it and it brought up the Local Storage Setting. I allowed 10KB, closed that and refreshed the site.
It did not change anything. Then I right clicked the icon again and this time clicked on Global Settings which took me there.
I checked my Global Storage Settings Panel: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html
and also my Website Storage Settings Panel: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html
My Settings are set to allow what some sites ask for, so there would have been no reason for the site to not open correctly.
Then I received the IE yellow icon in my task bar and opened it by double clicking. There is something wrong with the website and that error gave a Code error. Now in the lower mid section of that site there is an email for Tech support. I would use that and explain that the IE Status is saying there is a Code problem with the website. The IE yellow icon always has an explanation(!) in it and says: Done, but with errors.
If you go back to that site, check your lower left task bar and see if you receive that yellow icon error. Then you can take a look also.
That is all I know about it.
Hope that gives you enough info to maybe Tech support would have an answer.
Thanks,
