Win7 32 bit

Firefox (latest)

I'm having trouble installing Flash Player, it downloads the installation file but when I click on it and go through the screens I end up with "Connection Failed - Retry" which I do and get another window saying "Connection Failed - Finish" . . . which brings me back to the download page online

Ok, since nobody is of help to you, lets do the manual install

1) go to this page:

Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier

At the very bottom you will see still having problems, download the activeX and NPAPI versions

2) Next go to this page and get the adobe uninstaller:

Uninstall Flash Player for Windows

3) Make sure ALL browsers are closed and in the following order run

the Uninstaller

and both of the offline installers in either order. Hopefully that will solve your issue.

I have this automated if you prefer. Just click on my name in these forums, click on my website, then choose browse all files, and you will see BAT Version, open that up and use the one for XP and up.

Hope something here helps you

Best Regards

I just tried this solution. I attempt to load up the uninstaller and it gives me the message that "You must have administrative privileges to install Adobe Flash Player. Please log on with administrative privileges and try again." I'm on the admin account though so this makes no sense. Can anyone help me?

New thread brother! That is the admin password on your personal machine asking for an install. You should know what it is, Nobody here does as Flash does not ask for a password.

Thanks. I saw the new thread and am just waiting on an update over there. I never mentioned any password though so I'm not sure where you got that from.
