Flash keeps disabling when I reopen Google Chrome

Currently, on all 3 of my famillies home computers Adobe Flash does not work in Google Chrome.  They all have the same problem:

Whenever I open Google Chrome, Adobe Flash Shockwave Flash 11.1 r31 is disabled. I go into chrome://plugins, click Enable (to which it shows that it was enabled);

Then close and reopen Google Chrome only to find that it does not run, and when I go back into plugins, it is again disabled.

I have tried clicking enable, then opening another tab to see if it enables flash without restarting chrome, and it still does not work.

This still happens, even when I disable all Extensions on Chrome.

Can someone help me get Flash to work in Chrome again.

Flash currently works fine in both Firefox and IE on my computers.

Flash should be enabled by default with Chrome (they include their own version.)  Have you modified your Flash settings in Chrome's plugin page?  The version you have listed appears old to me (mine is 11,1,102,62) and I'm using Chrome 17.0.963.56 m.

This also keeps happening to me on multiple machines. Seemed to start when Chrome went from v24 to v25. I downloaded & re-installed flash player which seemed to help for a few days yet the problem returned soon after.

Any answers?
