You can download flash player from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer or http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions

Please let us know if you encounter any difficulties.

Thanks,

Everything has been running fine until I downloaded

this new Flash version.  My current setup is the following:

OS: Windows 7 64bit

Browser: IE  8.0.7600.16385    (I can't update this as it is a company laptop)

Flash Version: 10.3.181.34

When I ran the update for this I can no longer view any flash videos (youtube, etc).  If I try the browser freezes and must be restarted.

I have tried uninstalling the flash player and reinstalling the previous version but that did not work and now all my media programs are not working (primarily the audio related ones).

Please help!

Ever since I installed this version, I have had two problems:

1) The text on some websites like Food Network is streaked and won't display correctly.  When I select print preview it seems that the test is overlapped reading parts of page 2 on page 1.

2) I get the black box on the You Tube video area.  This seems to be fixed by clearing the cache and cookies.

Number one is a real problem.

I am running Windows 7, IE 8.0.7600.16385, Toshiba Techra A9

Any ideas?

Hi ManoYPuerco,

Would it be possible to post a screenshot of what you're seeing with the Food Network site?  Also, can you try to disable hardware acceleration (see step 1 on this page) to see if that makes a difference.

Your YouTube issue sounds like you might have had an older version of the YouTube player that ended up getting fixed when you cleared the cache.  Do you find that this problem crops back up after extended use?

Thanks,

Chris

At first, I was not able to download from the link immediately but as soon as I restarted the browser, things were pretty smooth sailing.

Hello,

Right, I have been through allsorts of forums and settings but still have a problem.

After installing the 5.5 Master collection and FP 10.3.181.34 everything works great, the player works on everything but tv.adobe or any of the Adobe sites!

All permissions and settings are correct but no go on playing any tutorial videos!

Has anyone fixed this at all?

Chris

Hi Chris,

I just tried tv.adobe.com on my Windows 7 system with 10.3.181.35 (the Chrome version) without any problems.  What browser / os are you using?  Can you try going to the Adobe Flash About page and let us know if you see something similar to the following screenshot?

Hello Chris,

Thanks for getting back. I've managed to get some videos working by removing un-used sdk and developer tools! The Flex in a week tutorials aren't working though.

Using Windows Explorer 8 (32 bit) with Google (not Chrome) on 64 bit Windows 7. I'll give Chrome a go and see what happens.

Chris

What is your operating system and browser?  Also, are these 32-bit or 64-bit?

I have a problem, I can't complete the installation, and right now have no working Flash Player.

i'm on Mac OSX 10.5.8.

I read the help page at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/908/cpsid_90893.html#products

Section 4 on that page "Download and install Flash Player (Firefox and Safari)" does not mention that in order to install the application you have to quit your browser [the installer opens a window to request this]. The problem I am experiencing is that after installing Flash Player another window pops up to ask me to "re-open all open browsers to complete the installation" – but I wasn't allowed to have any browsers open to begin with to run the installer? So I have therefore not been able to complete my installation, despite trying many times and attempting to work around it. This is a major error it seems. Please help.

I did try uninstalling the previous Flash Player I had which was 9.0, and then restarted my computer.

That didn't do anything.

Already posted a discussion about this but when I try to install this new version I get "Action List Not Found". I have uninstalled the previous adobe flash player and also done CCleaner Scan and registry fix. Any help would be great.
