Hi,

The MSI installer for Flash Player 25.0.0.171 actually installed the NPAPI version.

After installation I checked the flash about site : Adobe - Flash Player  ;  and noticed it was not normal : the flash window was a static image and the version rectangle was empty.

I then checked the installation log and saw the line that mentioned the npapi installation.

I then checked the flash about site from within firefox, and it showed the normal window with version 25.0.0.171

I then redownloaded the .msi to make sure I hadn't made a mistake, and reinstalled it.

This is the last line of the reinstall log :

MSI (s) (7C:64) [10:15:24:822]: Het product is opnieuw geconfigureerd. Productnaam: Adobe Flash Player 25 NPAPI. Productversie: 25.0.0.171. Producttaal: 1033. Fabrikant: Adobe Systems Incorporated. Status van geslaagd/mislukt opnieuw configureren: 0.

The flash about site from within IE is still off, so I conclude it's the installer that's wrong.

(i don't have the initial installation log since it's deleted from the installation script)

    Br,

    Dear,

    My bad !

I checked once again and I uploaded the plugin msi and renamed it activeX msi in the installer job.

So it was the NPAPI installer that was executed all the time.

My apologies, I overlooked it a couple of times ...

    Br,

    Davy
