Since installing Flash Player 10.1.102.64, every web page that contains flash, the screen flashes rapidly whenever moving the mouse across any flash object. I am unable to watch any video on a website as it constantly flashes. Others are having the same problem although not reported on this forum. Do a web search and you can see for yourself. So far no one has a fix. I have to disable the flash10l.ocx file to use the internet and am unable to watch web videos. I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit and did not have this problem when I first installed the system. I have uninstalled and reinstalled different versions of the Flash Player and it makes no difference. Yes, I restarted the computer after each uninstall before the new install. Any help out there? Thanks.

Try to disable Hardware Acceleration (Flash Player Settings).

I never had an accelerator for Flash Player. The only ones listed in IE8 Manage Add-ons are: Blog with Windows Live, Email with Windows Live, Map with Bing and Translate with Bing. They are all disabled.

Hi tammo2!
Yes, I did find a fix for this headache! Turning acceleration off in the flash player, as suggested on this thread, does not work. I found the fix on another site. It worked for me and I hope it works for you. The problem may be caused by missing or corrupt registry or system files. First I recommend uninstalling the flash player. Then follow the directions below.
To fix the registry, go to the start menu and click on Run
In the box type SFC/ scannow
Yes, there is supposed to be a space after the /
After the scan completes, reinstall the flash player.
Let me know if this worked for you.
