flash player installed in windows 7 but not in firefox

hello everyone,

i just installed windows 7 rc and firefox 3.0.10. then i tried to install flash 10: it results installed into the system but doesn't appear in firefox plugins. i tried to launch it from the macromed folder but it's the same...

can anyone help me?

What do you see when you go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ - can you see the Flash animation?

can't see the animation... it tells me i need to download the plugin

Is the downloaded plugin installer install_flash_player.exe (size 1,835KB) ?

I have just installed Firefox on Windows 7, then installed the FP plugin - no problem at all.  The same for Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7.

I suggest that you download and run the FP uninstaller from http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14157, then install both plugin and ActiveX again.
