In Safari, go to Safari > Preferences > Security

Make sure Allow JavaScript is checked.

Make sure Internet Plug-Ins is checked.

Under Internet-Plugins > Website Settings, choose Adobe Flash Player and set it to Allow in the bottom right.

Hi Jeromie,

I just tried your simple solution to my Flash problem. Why couldn't Adobe do that?! "Always Allow" also works.

I've been going round and round for months with this. I couldn't even pay Adobe for a solution. Their support is non-existant. Please excuse the rant.

My gratitude knows no bounds. Many thanks.

Unfortunately, this is a change to the default behavior on the Safari side.  We don't have access to modify those preferences during installation.

Other browsers like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox now provide a more user-friendly experience out of the box.
