Flash player not working in YouTube...

New Here ,
Sep 22, 2009 Sep 22, 2009

Hi,

Can anyone help me get flash player to load videos in Youtube please? It was working fine last night however when I try to get it to work in I.E or Firefox all I get is a message saying:

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.

I have checked that the JavaScript is enabled - it is - I've even downloaded the latest Flash Player 10 but still nothing works, even after restarting my PC. Any suggestion on what I should do?

Many thanks.

SHOCKWAVE FLASH >

click DISABLE >

close the window restart this procedure again and renable >

Hello, It seems that F.P. 10 installs in Firefox with no problems. In IE many are having issues.

Which Windows version are you using?

Which version of I.E.?

Please list all Adobe programs that are listed in Add/Remove

Also, all ActiveX in Manage Add ons, including name, Status, Type and File

Are you using Google and or Yahoo Tool bars?

Thanks, perhaps with this information, I can take a look at what the problem might be.

Hi

I'm not the original poster but I have the same prob. Tried the disable/enable trick above but it didn't work.

In add/rem I have adobe flash 10, photoshop 7, reader 7 and shockwave.

IE ver 7

Same probelm exists in both IE and Firefox. Strangely this happened a few weeks ago then it seemed to be OK for a while. Now it's gone again. I rarely change any of the settings on my computer and I'm sure I haven't done anything to it recently that might have caused this. It all seemed to start when I got into the habit of turning it off regularly to save the planet.
